ACELS - Delegates Manager

The Delegates Manager is responsible for overseeing the application process of ACELS, ensuring a diverse range of delegates are selected who can bring value and contribute to discussions. This role will also require the overseeing of delegate welfare during ACELS. The Delegates Manager will share regular meetings with the Operations Director and National President and work alongside other managers on the Project Team.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead the Delegates Team to:

  • Create the delegate application form and review applications;
  • If necessary, lead an interview panel to select delegates;
  • Compile the delegate bios and the delegate handbook;
  • Communicate with and support delegates as the first point of contact;
  • Monitor delegate interactions and ensure a constructive and supportive environment;
  • Implement the ACYA welfare policy;
  • Prepare effective response to risks (foreseen and unforeseen); and
  • Preparation of run-sheets and timetables in collaboration with other managers.
