ACYA Women's Network Manager is appointed by the ACYA National Executive Team and is responsible for the operation of the ACYA Women's Network. We aim to help young Chinese and Australian women aged 18-30 build self-awareness, embrace multiculturalism and inspire their potential and leadership abilities. We focus on social development, professional development, and international content.
Responsibilities
- Ensure opportunities for women in the ACYA field
- Assist with organising events and initiatives, including sourcing speakers for webinars, organising locations for events and obtaining feedback from members
- Collaborate with team members across a range of events and initiatives, manage the team and recruit committee members
- Be flexible and open to working on different tasks and initiatives
- Track and promote gender equality and diversity
- Represent ACYA at public forums as needed
- Ensure bilingual or bilingual content is available on member groups and social media platforms
- Liaise with the ACYA Partnerships team to ensure sufficient funds are raised for the women's network to host events

- Strong interest in the Australia-China relationship and ACYA activities
- Passion for women advocacy and empowerment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Excellent organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
- Experience working in a team
- Time Commitment: 8 hours per week on average
